Terms of sale
Last updated: 28 October 2026
1. The seller
Books are sold by OMU SAS, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of 500 EUR, registered office 2 rue Jacquard, 93100 Montreuil, France. Registered with the Bobigny trade and companies register (RCS Bobigny) under number 103 147 971, SIRET 103 147 971 00016. EU VAT number FR54103147971. Contact: hello@ohmyalbum.com. These terms apply to every printed book ordered on ohmyalbum.com by a consumer.
2. Ordering
You make your book, choose its options (size, cover, paper, number of copies) and your delivery address. Before you pay, a summary shows the book, the book price, delivery, VAT, the total including VAT and the expected delivery date. The order is made when the payment is accepted; you then get a confirmation email repeating this information.
3. Prices
Prices are in euros, VAT included. The VAT of the delivery country is included (20% for France) and shown in the summary and the confirmation email. Delivery is shown separately before payment. The price that applies is the one shown when you order.
4. Payment
You pay by card on the secure page of our payment provider Stripe. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment (3-D Secure). OhMyAlbum never sees or stores your card number. The card is charged when you order.
5. Printing and delivery
Your book is printed on demand by a partner printer and sent to the address you gave. The expected date shown before payment includes printing and transport. You follow the order on your Orders page and get an email when it ships, with parcel tracking when the carrier provides it.
If the book is not delivered by the date shown, or at the latest 30 days after the order, you can ask us to deliver it within a reasonable time and then, if it still does not arrive, cancel the order and be refunded (articles L216-1 and L216-6 of the French Consumer Code).
6. No right of withdrawal
Each book is made to your specifications, with your photos and texts, so the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply (article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code). An order can still be cancelled and refunded until it has been sent to the printer: write to us.
7. Guarantees
You have the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code) for two years from delivery, and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code). Under the guarantee of conformity you can have the book reprinted or, failing that, refunded.
In practice: if your book arrives damaged or misprinted, write to us with a photo of the problem. We reprint or refund it. Choices you made in the book (blurry photos, texts, a layout you approved) are not defects.
8. Your content
You keep all rights to your photos and texts and confirm you have the right to print them. We may refuse to print clearly unlawful content; the order is then refunded.
9. Personal data
Your data is handled as described on the Privacy page. For an order, the printer only receives the book files and your delivery address.
10. Complaints and mediation
For any complaint, write to hello@ohmyalbum.com or use the contact form (ohmyalbum.com/contact): we answer within 7 working days. If the dispute is not settled, you can use a consumer mediator for free (article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code); the name and contact details of OMU SAS's consumer mediator will be shown here as soon as its membership is signed.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. You keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction.
